Internships - Equine Veterinarian – 3 positions available
Exciting opportunities are now available for motivated veterinarians to join our ever expanding Bendigo hospital in the position of intern.  Kick start your equine career with a fixed term hospital based contract, which on successful completion, you may be offered ongoing employment with excellent career path and prospects within our group
  • 1 x 6 month seasonal internship commencing August 2023
  • 1 x 12 month internship commencing January 2024
About the Role
 
Be involved in the treatment of in house patients, anaesthesia of horses for surgery, and assist with cases ranging from lameness, to colic work ups, to the breeding of mares.  You will gain considerable experience in all aspects of equine veterinary medicine, taking advantage of the knowledge and guidance of our two registered equine specialists and other senior vets.

Are you a keen and enthusiastic individual who seeks to make equine practice the focus of your career?  We seek flexible, reliable professionals with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively as part of a team.  New graduates and those with some experience in mixed animal or first opinion equine practices are encouraged to apply.  To be considered for the role, you must meet the full registration requirements of the Veterinary Practitioners Board of Victoria and have the right to work in Australia.
